About the Funding
This unique funding opportunity, part of the Urban and Community Forestry Grants authorized by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, targets the enhancement of urban forestry initiatives. It is designed to directly address the urgent environmental and health disparities affecting communities around 1890 Land-Grant Universities.

Funding Focus
Proposals must be backed by a letter of support from the Dean.
Indirect costs are capped at 20% of total direct costs.
Specific restrictions apply to fund usage, including limits on equipment costs and prohibitions on academic and vehicle costs.
